Rumpled Sheets

In these rumpled sheets we loved
Every wrinkle a reminder of the night we shared.
I am jealous as I smooth and tuck them

Lost

His dad said,
“You can call me dad . . .
if you want.”
before walking out the door
after our goodbye hug.
