My Man

My man has
the most magnificent hands-
with wide, plate palms
and long, sure fingers.
He uses them for lots of things-
typing song titles,
dipping into the peanut butter jar,
sometimes they find a nostril (rarely his own),
and other times they sign tickets
for angry officers.
