but she was gone
the pounding in my head said
“this is happening”
in time with his hips
and I threw up my dignity,
self-worth and a few other things
in the leaves
finally empty

If you want to participate, just read along [...]

i feel I’ve been finally filling my skin
these past few months, but
just like every fall
i’m going somewhere
quiet
full of words
snapshots of a life
I sometimes can’t believe is mine . . .
