Thoughts . . .

Just before the world fades away, I always imagine I am dying.
“There is something at work in my soul which I do not understand” –Mary Shelley–Frankenstein
Knitting this yarn feels like the solving of a very long problem; I wish my problems could be solved in such a way.
Its strange to think that he is both [...]

Blackout

i went for a run tonight
too much sleep,
too much energy
took why?lee
because I don’t go outside in the dark alone

riding high on graduation

This is the Outlaw Bible of American Poetry. Carl gave it to me (along with a sturdy leather-wrapped journal for when I go riding/hiking, etc) for my graduation knowing it is one of my favorite books of all time and that one of my brothers took it with him when he moved out while [...]

Words, words

Slowly the words I’ve kept close are slipping through, only I feel differently about them now and that feeling is reflected in unfamiliar inflections, contexts I couldn’t see through opaque panes of past after past. I wonder if understanding has to go both ways to be meaningful and answer myself yes, but only in communication, [...]
